
Jeanne Howard

Jeanne Howard is originally from Louisville, Kentucky and brings with her an educational background of social work, counseling and theology. She has served in both parish and diocesan ministry (social work, pastoral ministry, retreat ministry and religious education) for over 35 years in New Mexico, Massachusetts, New York, Pennsylvania, Mississippi (3 years), and Florida (13 years). She has lived and served in Mobile for the last fourteen years. The last two years, she has ministered with the Archdiocese of Mobile Office of Religious Education.
Jeanne's ministry with the Office of Religious Education includes: providing training, support and regular monthly meetings for parish catechetical leadership (link to schedule of Spring 2006 meetings); coordinating and teaching Wellsprings of Faith courses for parish catechetical personnel; providing support and training for those in RCIA and evangelization ministries; providing resources and support to small faith sharing groups, especially Why Catholic?; and assisting parishes in the implementation of Generations of Faith.
